WELCOME TO MY BRANDNEW BLOG-ULENDO-KUDYA-KUGONA(HOSPITALITY AND TOURISM IN MALAWI)

To choose the words to start a new blog about travel ,hospitality and tourism in Malawi has been  my  hunch awaiting one answer from the question;when do i start bleeding my pen?.One simple answer to this simple question has never been easy  in words.CREATE  a blog  and go right ahead on the keyboard.i have been putting this in a pegionhole thinking i should have a special time for this.I just managed to start writing now.

I have been a tourist in my own country Malawi unknowingly,here iam asking 'chingwe hole ...why this name?......Emperors view?,What a view of lake chirwa wooooow!This is why i started this blog.

"Da,da,da-knock-knock,Roomservice!......You see  the CEO who is seen on TV and newspapers comming towards the door and peeping through the keyhole to comfirm he sees a waiter balancing a tray.You see them in their real self and not wearing their public smiles.You meet them and they ask you what should they do to dial to another room........i thought you just press the numbers.They ask you if they can have anything quick done in the kitchen,they are starving,GOD 'so this powerful man can also go hungry?.You touch their cup during breakfast and they nod their head at you to acknowledge for your help,yet you just passed to them a tea spoon.

These little things i thought do not exist,the things i overlooked about hospitality and tourism here by give birth to this blog.The beauty of our country and the all talk but no action about turning to Tourism as a forex earner than  our dwindling tobbaco industry gave me the urge to blog.

I see these breathtaking sights and i passby beautiful people who always want to give me a handshake and wear that wide smile on their face.They do this to me their son and friend,i observe and i think they only do this to me because they personally know me or they have noticed my accent that am from Balaka,Lilongwe,Zomba you name it .I was wrong.Malawi dubbed as the warm heart of Africa its people are all smiles to every soul from every plannet  even mars.

To honour these wonderful human-beings and their surrounding of mountains that sing heaven songs,rivers that flow with milk and honey and broad lakes that breed the unique species of protein in the world.The name of the blog being:ULENDO-KUDYA-KUGONA ...meaning travel food and accommodation in Malawi.

The first day in college of Tourism and Hospitality,one lecture said something that i will never forget,
'This is the only industry where you can talk  to Bill Clinton and laugh or tell him his tea is getting cold"

Isee,i can escort and help out  a world leader like Barack Obama to his room,recommend Naomi Campbell what to eat for dinner,watch Bakili Muluzi how much he can bite at one go at lunchtime.I cannot forget this:what about replenishing tissue paper in the VVIP room where the president of a country is putting up.

This is the only industry where you comfirm the immortality of great men and women of the world who tops the list of Alexander Forbes.The industry you can see  how unfaithful men and women play their game and you are a spectator who will never disclose how many goals were scored because our job is to be descreat enough and ensure safety,privacy and comfort.
